    i'm stuck at him for different reasons; HE IS FUCKING HARD! i played deltarune from start to finish in one go, using the save points as way to heal more then anything since nothing (not even the king) could get close to beating me, and then i find out about Jevil... i never fought Sans, but i can't image him being harder then this...

    at least if you're beating him up like I'm doing, I hear pacify is a bit bit easier because spinning causes various effects in the battle. And I didn't make mincemeat of sans, but I've been dodging since Contra and those skills served me well in that fight, but Jevil's just overwhelming, he just gets faster more excited each time I send that jack-in-the-box head of his flying. And again, after a few times, that theme of his starts becoming unsettling, just as much as him talking in the game.

    I'm not giving up, but he's a scary character.. like, if we 'lose' his game, he's gonna run outside and play with every living thing he can find..

  • Hot take and a bit of wholly unwarranted and perhaps obvious spoonfeeding.
    Kris’ hp is 20 during the Aboveground world and his Darkworld counterpart has 90. This implies they gain 70 in transfer, although Susie has 110 hp and we cant confirm if she has 40 as well in the overworld and serve as concrete evidence. But for now you know who else has 70 hp? Ralsei. Since its stated the pillar gives him form its safe to assume that his hp would drop to 0 outside of the dark world and this would be one of the first in-universe explanations and thus he cant exist in the over world as the current circumstances would suggest.

    not all of the stuff the "Pirouette" act does is helpful and a few of them are even harmful like making the number of invincibility frames decreases that turn or making Jevil's next attack stronger, so depending on your luck you can make that fight easier or harder for yourself... which in my case i'd better stick with the "Hypnosis" act; no bonus effect but makes Jevil tired faster

    thanks, I'll keep that in mind for the next run, but this one's been nothing but fighting and stepping on Ralsei's lines, so I'm punchin' the clown and avoiding all internet spoilers.

  • I'm in love with Toriel's design. She looks the part of a fire mage who could probably also throw boulders at you. Or set a boulder on fire and then throw it at you.
