This people. Tagging isn't for clarity about the characters, it's for finding in a search.

It's hard to imagine someone looking for "ambiguous_gender" rather than "male/female". Just saying.

Actually there is a "trap" tag and I bet its exactly what most people search for when they look for traps, sometimes along with "girly" and "male". But I cant imagine a sane person who would look specifically for "ambiguous_gender".

You don't need to confirm that you see breasts to tell whether or not the individual is a girl. On the other hand, though, you don't need to confirm that you see a penis to tell whether or not the individual is a guy, either.

Excuse me, But this same character has also been in other art. He is infact male, as well as in the source, the artist has specified it as "Male." If the character was drawn as male, then it is male, even if the viewer thinks otherwise.

It would help if people actually read the tagging rules before editing tags, but that doesn't seem to happen.
Tags are for finding images, not for finding characters and whatnot. If someone searches "male" they probably don't want an ambiguous girlyboy in their search results, but that seems to happen way too much.
