Description
post #1688080 was too small! Had to manually splice post #1687985 and post #1687983 to get the proper resolution.

MemberAnd I just realized that I accidentally saved/posted this without compressing it, and it's 43MB instead of 11MB like everything else in the set. I can reupload this in a more managable size if needed.

MemberIf you're not talking to the artist then the policy of this site is to *always* post the highest-res least-compressed versions that an artist will allow to be posted.

MemberYou can do this to https://e621.net/post/show/1688081 as well, if you like, that one was also made using the lower resolution versions. (Only the first three are official, the artist knows about the edits, as does the character owner (which is me).)

JanitorSo here's the thing, I myself always use word "optimization" with PNG files, because whenever I say compression, everyone gets extremely confused, because compression is this ugly word and we want least compressed versions right?
PNG uses lossless compression, that's how the files can be 2 MB instead of 50 MB (like they would be with BMP which doesn't support compression). Because of this compression we can easily host original quality versions without everyone pulling their hair out with the massive sizes. It would actually be extremely much preferred if artists themselves already put their files trough OptiPNG or PNGGauntlet to ensure that the files are as low sizes as they can be.
This is also reason why I always tell not to look at filesizes when determining quality of file, because 2 MB and 50 MB PNG files can be visually identical, other is just fully optimized and other is completely uncompressed. It's lossy formats like JPG and WebM where there will also be irreversible visual downgrade with higher compression, meaning that with those more compression is worse.
This would be much appreciated as I'm sure there will be more and more users complaining about the filesize for years to come if this is left intact.
