In fairness, sex-positive religion is a thing, especially among the more hippie-esque groups with flat leadership systems and an opposition to tradition for tradition's sake. Like within progressive Christianity and modern Paganism.

Sex isn't that much frowned upon even in traditional Church (i'm guessing most bad rep comes from the ''loud minority'' + churches with an...american bent, so to say).

Most of the heat is actually directed to promiscuity and lewd behavior, pre-marital or extra-marital. A married couple can do bdsm, watersports, whatever and within the traditional bounds of the faith ofc (no polygamy, bestiality etc.).

Religion & spirituality are ultimately people's personal issue.
In a situation such as above (presuming a ''catholic schoolgirl'' syndrome) she has several options: Give up her lewd ways and become ''pure'', continue, but go to confession(s), continue, but switch to a more liberal church or abandon (organised) religion and go with her own interpretation.
