  • And remember, they didn't have leg stockings back then.
The top half is also smooth and shiny.
She's just got that natural sheen.

Her fur is too clean for the 13th century too, it should be more tattered and messy.
Also: Clothing wasn't that fine back then either nor did undergarments exist.
If we're applying historic detail those are some things you missed ^.<

You'd be correct if she didn't wash and brush/comb her fur, which would be perfectly reasonable for her to do, and if she couldn't afford good clothing, especially clothing made of fine materials like silk, which had existed for over a millennium before the 13th century. I wouldn't be surprised if she could afford to make her appearence like what is depicted in the image given she's most often shown as being nobility.

They had silk clothing and underwear like boxer like undergarments and proto bloomers for women they could get it from the Middle Eastern trade and shit or simply make them. Many had the means to clean their hair. Peasants even had tooth brush like implements to wash their mouths and mint or similar flavored herbs were chewed to clean the mouth if they could bother. Up until the 14th century there were bath houses places in every major city or any city with a mayoral or a sizable trade position. Until the Catholic Church deemed them unsafe for the public(the Black Death)and obscene. Many nobles could afford a shampoo like product to keep their hair clean. They didn’t have many of the commodities we had at all like anesthetics, basic human rights, etc but the people weren’t dumb or stupid. They often did the best with what they had.

    Rant over

People of nobility were generally better-groomed.
And Disney's Robin Hood isn't exactly historically accurate to begin with. I mean, latex balloons? Nope.

You mean they didn't? Are you saying that Hollywood has been lying to us all this time? LOL.
