SHORT STORY

'Extremely vain, supremely naive and fueled by a draconic greed for pampering and gifts the young Copper Dragon had grown used to being treated like a goddess by the smallfolk around her lair. However one day a noble Lord and his posse of knights came for her, and instead of shiny trinkets and well-wishes it was the thunder of hooves and nets that flew her way as men in heavy mail charged at the surprised dragon.'

'Little did Ghidori realize just how fascinating it could be to have her entire world turned upside down by these lesser mortals, humans whose puny insignificant lives lasted but a speck of her own as they tied her up. Ropes of leather bound her majestic wings and mighty legs tightly together and collar for tugging her along like some filthy livestock soon found its way around her beautiful neck as a rusty metal cage contained her muzzle's fierce draconic spit.'

'Not only that but the blinders from one of the Knight's horses was cruelly placed around her lovely head to humiliate the awe-inspiring dragon once the Lord and his men set camp. Here Ghidori was ordered to remain still as the weary men rested their gear, weapons and crude banners against her muscle-bound frame like she was some pathetic mule before tending to the pots and tents - yet despite this even as she worried for her hoard of treasures the proud dragoness could not help but crack an exhausted smile while weakly flexing against her bindings...'
