So I finally caught up on the comic for the first time in years, and given the way Clovis gets bandied about, I'm astounded he's had literally one confirmed appearance in the main run thus far. Between the speculation here, the spinoff, Tom's own fanservice, and the actual comic, I don't even know what's canon anymore.

Well, in Tom's own words, everything's canon, even non-canon things. Or in other words, no need to get too caught over what is or isn't. :)

Clovis was the main villain of The Dragon Masquerade-spinoff, but he got popular enough that he's now jumped to the main comic. And yes, he's originally a male that Nora transformed into a female due to him being a colossal misogynist.
