News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

Rose: Trace, there are places in the estate I have no influence over! You didn’t trust me with free reign everywhere!

Trace: Influence? What are you talking about?

Rose: There’s no time!

Rose: I can explain later, but if you really care about the lives of the others, I need to have access to all the rooms of the estate, now!

Trace: O-okay! Sure! Go ahead!

Rose: You have to say it! Say that you lift the restrictions you placed on me!

  • I believe we have just freed a genie.

    Effectively.

Because you know removing restrictions never backfires.

    Ever.

Gotta say, out of all the Twokinda characters, Rose is one of the least I would expect to abuse having restrictions removed, especially after how Trace has been treating her lately.

  • Trace's demon chose a little too late there to put his opinion forward...also I believe if she doesn't try to punish trace, this would probably be better for them and Rose since now she can assist them more than she could before.

Also she can now hopefully (but not hopefully) keep trace out of places that he made and/or the places Roae promised to keep him out.

Chances are she can BARELY control it, so the restrictions were not only for their safety but specially HER OWN.

Dunno who downvoted this. Given how thoroughly evil Trace liked screwing with people, this could be very true (also his wife told him to keep her safe, so minimum restrictions and all that).

To add onto that, though, she's been kept in the house of a psychotic anti-keidran grand mage since she was the keidran equivalent of a teenager (10-11?) and has probably had quite a few experiments she'd like to forget...not to mention all the farm animals that used to be Trace's attackers. She probably has quite the grudge against him even if he lost his memory of what he did, and a random act of hatred could trigger a relapse if his psycho thoughts are resurfacing.
