The Fluffer - Pg. 8

Bit of a rough page, this one. There's some drawing issues, some colouring issues (our fennec friend is too dark in a few of the panels), and that last panel is a bit of a dumb move. I was a bit nervous about the jump-cut and guess I felt the need to explain it out, but in hindsight it just feels heavy handed and obvious.

Ah well, as I've said before, you're watching me learn with these, feeling my way around in the dark. Storytelling in particular is a completely new area for me so I expect to suck at it for a long time, but you don't get better by not doing, so I'll keep hammering away until I flatten out some of the stupidity. :P

But if you do like my sucky comic pages, you can help me make more! You know the place.
Mainly it's a way to chip in a little support if you like what I do, that helps me do more of it. But there are a few little bonuses too!

If that ain't your style, I do hope you at least get some amusement out of my blind, stumbling efforts to make a comic thing.

    Not defending his actions but, she wasn't ever nice to him, or mean, or anything. This is the only sentence she ever said to him, so it's pretty ambiguous how she treats him.

    He's still a dick though.

    And this, kids, is how you end up killing someone because you don't know what meds they already might be on, or if they are allergic to your "harmless" roofies.

    Totally! If he's taking meds for migraines it's probably got ibuprofen in it. Lots of people, myself included, are way allergic to ibuprofen, and similarly there are tons of people allergic to Acetaminophen. You can't just... give people pills unless you know what they take themselves. And acetaminophen is highly toxic in its own right and can become deadly just as fast as it will "knock someone out" so like.... pain killers are a horrible choice as roofies.

    They'e probably triptans, a class of drugs designed to treat migraines. Some people report getting sleepy after taking one. It's remotely conceivable that enough of them could cause someone to become sleepy enough to fall asleep at work.
