I don't believe this is his fetish. She's been haunting him and he wanted to see what she really is. It would be cool if this were a comic detailing them hunting down the bastard that did this to her and letting her have her vengeance.

Honestly, I thought these pictures were great. It's not gruesome, just dark. It's well drawn, and cute. Even in these few panels you kind of get the idea of the dynamic between the two.

And I tend to agree with the idea that it's more that he doesn't care about how she looks than it is about him being into dead creatures. He wants her to be herself, and he could tell that the only reason she put on that mask was for his sake. She wouldn't care what she looks like.

I'm not sure. Judging by the tone of her voice, even she seems uncertain about that actual form. Of course, I wouldn't want to look like a mutilated corpse either.

How is it that such a simple sketch style manages to bring such strong emotions that other art is nowhere near close to managing?

I mean, if I were brutally murdered I probably wouldn't want to constantly be reminded of it by my mutilated-corpse-like appearance. She, also, doesn't seem particularly fond of that form.

Girls can all be petty, but at the end of the day, I would rather have a dead, monsterious girl who has the time to talk to me and share there fellings with me without riticuling me. then a pretty, stuck up, snotty, playboy girl who only cares about herself, and how big the Andiconda is, if you know what I mean..... It is what is on the inside that counts...

Maybe I've watched too many thriller movies, but I could actually see her "boyfriend" starting to a crusade to find who killed her and make some justice, maybe even just sending the fucker to jail. It would be a good way to make her spirit finally rest and give us some nice character developement for our male protagonist.

If there were indicators for her eyes, that'd be nice, but that's about it.
