Description
It is said that before Arax, beloved disciple of Beinir, first lay with him, he was offered a banquet. Beinir set forth a table, heavy with sweetmeats and fruits from far-off lands. The aroma made the man's mouth water, but he refused to eat.
"Why do you not eat?" the god asked. "Does my cornucopia displease you?"
"Sire," Arax replied, "though your table is bountiful, and though I eat until my body is sated, I shall yet be hungry. For I seek another satisfaction from you."
And Beinir smiled, and his gifts were laid bare for the man, and Arax feasted upon them.
