Shiny?

Alright, so, this originally started out with me wanting to draw a crow girl I toyed with some time ago, just because my original idea for the day didn't really work out and I'm still -way- too in love with the avians females lately. I drew some random pose and it started looking a bit like she was being captivated by something shiney. While the crow girl in question does have a fascination with shiny stuff, I'm not actually sure if real crows care all that much about them... I hear magpies certainly do though.

So I looked up a picture or two of a magpie and my god, their colour pattern translates in such an awesome way over to an anthro body. I love it to death and I think I want to do naughty things with her. xD It's simple but interesting, and I love that sort of thing.

...just wish I hadn't messed up her face so badly, heh. Well, that brings us to the next topic of discussion- I'm fairly certain I'm now comfortable enough with colouring on watercolour paper that I can come down from panic mode. My colouring is half decent now, but my actual drawing abilities are still the weakest part of my arting by far. Time to go back to doing sketches for a little while I think.
