If I had to guess, it's probably a single barrel shotgun using dual lower magazine tubes, like the Kel-Tec KSG for example.

Dreamkeepers fan here, I can say that the weapon uses fictional "springer" technology. Bullets are placed into cartridges loaded with a spring and are propelled forward by the spring at the pull of the trigger. This weapon is designed to shoot both the bullet and the spring as a dual-projectile weapon. I forgot what the third barrel is for, I think it's to eject the used cartridge in order to prevent less jamming.

David Lillie has fully admitted to not being an engineer, so take all this with a grain of salt. Not a big fan of this fictional technology, but there you go.

In my opinion, it looks like empathy gun from hitchhiker's guide to galaxy. that movie was weird af.

Could be a rifle version of the whale or well-rod pistol.
some of this gun even has features like that of a silenced sten.
