  • This hip-to-waist ratio clearly indicates female bodytype. According to the gender-tagging flowchart this should be flat-chested female, not a cuntboy.

@Ratte, what is the reason for those locked tags?

male upper body. that isn't a flat chest, those are pecs.

Presence of pectoralis majors does not make an upper body male. Females have those muscles just as well. What makes an upper body male is shoulders-to-height ratio. Here it is characteristically female as well.

presence of obvious pecs like this is considered a male trait.

    Considered by whom and why?

wide_hips is also a tag and gets slapped on male characters all the time and doesn't automagically make them dickgirls unless they also have breasts.

By the same logic pecs is also a tag and gets slapped on female characters quite often and doesn't automagically make them cuntboys unless they also have male proportions. This is how we do things here.

Google Athletic Flat chested women or flat chested women athletic body builds and look at the upper body regions and proportions. swimmers do not have such a pectoral region in women.

there ARE versions of this character with the proper type of upper body, this is not one of them. Study the anatomy CAREFULLY mind you.

In before you say any variation of 'its art style' that's fine, but we tag based on proper anatomy. Hell even Danbooru has a VERY strict anatomy rule when it comes to that, and has someone who can fine tell the differences.

    Irrelevant.

    I did. Did you?

And proper anatomy here is feminine. According to basic body proportions.

Both of your examples still have breast tissue over their pecs.

Yes. Because they are humans. On the other hand: I do not see the other side producing any examples of human males with proportions as the ones shown on the picture.

You are taking me for someone who asks silly questions. I am well aware of administrative structure of this resource.

As you wish. But as you can see, body masculinity/femininity is a category that is both relevant for tagging under TWYS and ill-defined. This leads to tagging becoming subjective, being dependent upon tastes of whichever moderator gets to the post first (as you can see comparing "female flat_chested" and "cuntboy" search results). And this undermines the very point of TWYS - tagging that is as non-subjective as possible.

Shouldn't some explicit masculinity/femininity criteria be introduced to TWYS policy to reduce such subjectivity?

And here's a fun biological fact:
Breasts are not the same thing as mammary glands.
Breasts are a physiological feature unique to humans and are simply a collection of tissue used to house the mammary glands.
Other non-human mammals such as Otters do not have breasts to house their mammary glands.
So an Otter character with no visible breast tissue is as biologically reasonable as a reptile character with no breasts or nipples.

  • This comment chain made me realize why I could never find flat chested female adults on this site! They're all under andromorph for some reason. Not a tag I'd normally search for, but whatevs. I thought I just didn't like big boobs, but I guess I like "cuntboys" according to the tag wiki? I stopped searching for flat_chest because of the age issue, so this is a neat, if weird discovery. Now I have to figure out how to search for andromorph without masculine facial features, or biceps, or overly wide shoulders... I'll figure the arcane recipe out eventually.

Sweet pic btw. Love the way she looks.

  • I mean... Is it so hard to believe a character is born female and is transitioning to being male? Or still identifies as male with female characteristics? If the creator says the character is male then they are because that's how gender works, silly.

Small edit: Yeah the other drawings of this character are tagged female so, it's just tagged wrong but still
