that's the second indochina war mainly against American. what i was referring to is the one mainly against France 1945-1954. and that specific year i said above is a year of starvation at it limit. caused by the japan nazis forced farmers to not grow crop but a type of grass we called "cỏ đay" to provide materials for war's production.

i hope i made myself clear.
