Gifs are really inefficient as far as data size goes, notice this short animation,despite the relatively low res, is a whopping 17.7MB. The format favors mobile devices like my crappy ipad which cant play webm's.

If you end up converting it to a video format, consider sharing by uploading it as a child to this post.
