However, that's arguably not a public posting, so unfortunately e621 gets the compressed Twitter version (for now?).

Which is quite a shame, as the censored DeviantArt version is a higher-resolution PNG.

would it help if it could be a composite of lower-res uncensored image over the high-res image? It would be partly up-scaled however...

Care to elaborate why you think that's so bad? I have an image to maintain for potential employers and school, however I wanted to provide what I could to customers and fans that are interested in NSFW. It was honestly the best option, in my opinion.
