JanitorI could use Gimp and multiply this image up to infinite amount with NO loss in quality. You cannot do the same with neural network of any kind.
(Joke is that nearest neighbor is only lossless way to upscale)
Have any of you guys who say that neural network upscalers can beat native resolution files actually compared the results to native resolutions? Because I have and upscalers are never even close. Sometimes they even make up details that shouldn't exsist and make everything look like drawn with marker.
