Hawk101
MemberWe finally see Kat's parents! It looks like her mother was a hyena and her father was a lion. Interesting.
Iago1
MemberI'm pretty sure that they are both hybrids, since Kat is supposed to be a product of generations of crossbreeding. And hyenas aren't canines or felines, so they shouldn't be a Keidran species, at all.
BanishedDragon
MemberHybrids are sterile. What they did was selective breeding (acquiring desired traits from each parent race before crossbreeding).
Iago1
MemberNope, canine-feline hybrids are sterile in the Twokinds universe, but not canine-canine or feline-feline hybrids. Kat doesn't even know for sure what species she's a mixture of.
pitioti
MemberIt is said, in Twokinds, that the reason for her sterility is because of to many mixture of Keidran Species, so, I don't think it's just the Feline-Canine Hybrid that sterilised, but more the too many mixture that totally blocked her capacity to have baby 'o' !
Not that person
MemberBring the kitty Kat her yarn back you monsters!
Iago1
MemberAs I recall, Tom has specified ages ago that felines and canines aren't able to produce fertile offspring, specifically. It's been a long time, but that detail is stuck to my head.
