This guy's overall animation got better... but I still like the... the shadow's bit where he pulls at his fur and his skin comes apart to show his bones and "broken heart." That's fucking nifty.

I found this while looking for posts tagged 'epic'. I was not disappointed.

Years later, this video still gives me a crazy wow. The feelings and imagery behind it are breathtaking.

And the detail. For example, even in professional animation you don't see accurate guitar fingering like this.
