I think hard tranlaslation means it 1 to 1 translated unedited, for exsample "i love you" in japanese is translated to "i like you" in english, hence hard translated. you always fix your translation to mean what they're are saying for all readers to understand.

Hmm. so Tornwing is a fullblood that's known his foster mom for a fair amount of time. would explain why she was so invested in helping Jonty out after the incident with Shad. Though...this raises a question: has she been watching him the entire time? I find it a bit convinient she already knew to come find them while Clem was carrying one Drunk Jonty home.

doubt she been watching him the entire time given that jonty almost died twice and was hunted for 2 months. The more important question is, why was lu hidding so much important information from jonty
