Memberehhhhh... technically the ranger games and their regions have a weird status of both being canon to the main series and not. there are rangers in gens 5,6, and 7 that claim to be either from Fiore, Aurora, or almia. so that little shout out in the core games does mean that the regions are canonical to the main games.. but whether the ranger games are FULL canon is... debatable. then too the ranger regions have been mentioned in passing in the adventures manga and the anime.. hell in battle frontier wasnt there a whole episode about a ranger that was after deoxys?
