MemberD&d you hit the kobolds before the overrun you. So yes hit mean kobolds.
Kain241
MemberA lot of people are misunderstanding what i meant. I didnt mean it as literal punching bag. I meant like, just like goblins, they get slapped around with a lot of dicks. : P
Evertide
MemberWell in a lot of settings where kobolds (whether the scaly kind or the doggy kind) exist, they're basically on the same level as, say, orcs or goblins: Minimum-level wieners that even low-level characters can beat up without much trouble, with tougher versions being more the exceptions than the rule.
Not to mention, with how easy they tend to be to boss around, you have to figure a not-insignificant percentage of them are the "bully me harder" type.
So while I, too, love the little dragon nuggets even if they're bad, I still think you're right both how you meant it and how you didn't.
Kain241
MemberExactly. ^^
Innocuous Kobold
MemberTrue! As long as you only bump into them while their traveling and can't have a plan or traps set up otherwise it's variable. [Also you got a lot of down votes there unfairly your not wrong.]
[Kobolds are as dangerous as your DM is creative and seeing Kobolds at higher level is a tall tale sign of a Jigsaw DM, Which can scale exceptionally high especially in area's they've set up shop can be a straight up suicide mission.]

MemberThank you!
And I agree. I like keeping any creature relavent and dangerous throughout a campaign. Helps keeps the players grounded and percieving threats in universe rather than by level and stat meta. Goblins and kobolds are my favorite example of this. Ive had several parties underesti.ate the little things at higher levels and regret it.
