Member1) So she DOES feel pain?
2) From what else we've seen of her, I have reason to believe she reacts...very, very differently to pain than most of us do.
Hladilnik is the master of creating women that give me severely conflicting feelings.

BlockedA measure of strength isn’t how many times you get shot down, it’s your outlook when you get back up.

MemberIs an Airborne Ranger even a thing?
Unbentsuperpyro
MemberRangers require you to have Airborne training before you attempt ranger school, which gets you the rest of the qualifications I believe.
TheWhistler
MemberYes, it is, all Rangers are airborne qualified. You'd know it was thing if you went to basic, the DSs never shut up about airborne rangers in the cadences.
Not true. You don't have to be airborne qualified to go, since they'll teach you when you get there, if you make it that far. If you go option 40 trying to get into regiment via RASP, they send you through airborne school, then off to RASP.
TheWhistler
MemberAlso, is that a distinguished service cross next to her purple heart? In that case the rack is out of order, as the bronze star comes before purple heart, and I see what looks to be the line pattern of a bronze star... Enh

MemberIt goes off by a particular order? I always assumed it was based on which one you received first. The things your NCO’s don’t tell you!
SlackJaw
MemberSorry for the super late comment, but this triggered me on a whole new level.
TheWhistler
MemberYes. It's called the order or merit...what fucking NCO told you you didn't have to order your ribbons a certain way???
RedBonkleMan
MemberFucking none dude, but then again it’s been years and I have not updated my dress blues in forever.
MoonlitSoul
MemberFrom what I understand there are people who have analgesia who register that they are feeling something that they intellectually understand is pain but which is very unlike what you or I would feel, and then there are people who just don't feel any sensation of pain at all.
