I usually draw one page a month! So, once a month, I'll upload a page to Patreon. Once it's been patreon-exclusive for one week, then I post the pages in a lower resolution everywhere else.

Im upset but not for the reasons most would think. I dont like paywall art because of potential for art to be lost. If patreon or similar sites disallow pornographic or furry art on a whim (more common than youd think, look at when yaoihaven got kicked off their host wetpaint.com) we could lose tons of high resolution art as well as pay wall exclusives.

Theres also time to think about. What happens when an artist nolonger creates? Say if they quit the field or pass away. Their art could be lost. If its behind a paywall and not enough people saved it the art could be gone forever.

Im a big advocate for earning from what you create, mind you. I would just hate to see the work lost in the event of some unforseen circumstance. Theres media out there that is lost already and it would suck to see even someones furry porn disapear due to unavailability.

I wouldnt know how to fix it while keeping artists earning profit in the case of paywall material, though.

Also, I love how Ian notices Olli is going to struggle to keep it down so gives him a nice helping hand :)

A little late for this but yiff artists bring in a ton of traffic to patreon and that traffic has some pretty big spenders. I don't remember where or when I got this stat but an artist that goes by Fenoxo (he's famous for the Corruption of Champions games among others) makes around $300,000-$400,000 from patreon alone which by all means is crazy
