Nah, since Kuro's not going to profit from this, he's pretty safe. OSE got taken down because Kuro was selling the comic, as well as early access to it. Nintendo may not like porn drawn of their characters, but the don't have the time or money to try and stomp out anyone who draws said porn, they'll only go after people who're profiting from their copyright.

Trademark law is the relevant category when using a character, not copyright law. And fair use is a defense, not an umbrella protection.

Those claims were fake. A lot of people on Twitter and Patreon were getting hit with them and they are full of inaccuracies and blatant copy/paste
