Dunno why this comment would get a downvote and not the original it was in response to... the perspective doesn't change at all. It's a crop-and-zoom, nothing more; the impressions of height, depth, and or relative distance between objects remains the same.

An example of a shift in perspective would be if the camera began from close and below, giving the impression of the character being gargantuan (worm's eye view), before, in another panel, shifting to where it is in any of the following images.

Since, in the panels, we can see that the distance between objects viewable (head, pencil, pad of paper) remains constant along with the fact that our view of the character gets closer, while also becoming narrower, the conclusion we can draw is that the "camera" is zooming in.

We kind of do. Medical records, criminal records, bank accounts, internet history, store receipts.

Strap a fit bit to your wrist, connected to your bank account, google maps, Reminders App and overlaid on some google glasses and you've practically got a HUD with your health, money, mission objectives, and minimap.
