not going to lie I couldn't figure out if the side stories between these two characters was of best friends or girlfriends, but this post makes me want to lean towards saying they're dating. Though in saying that this is something females would do to their friends so fuck if I know

According to Tom they are just friends. He used that as the reason as to why he refused to draw them kissing on the lips like I initially suggested so I abandoned the sketch. It's also why the sketch no longer has my name on it on Patreon

Huh, I thought he just didn't want to portray these two in a sexually suggestive way. He had no problem showing them nuzzling intimately or being in a lesbian bar in earlier sketches.
