So yeah, I felt a tad compelled to do some Fanart of an absolutely incredible Zootopia AU called Zistopia. If you've never heard of it, it's a ridiculously well-written, well-conceived what-if scenario that takes elements of the original plot of Zootopia (the shock collars, the explicit oppression of predators), and runs absolutely wild with them. Needless to say, that makes it pretty damned dark and more than a little depressing, but it's still a very, very engrossing read. The amount of thought nicolaswildes has put into this project is simply astonishing, and the story they've told here is, simply put, the story that Zootopia could've been if it hadn't been told by Disney.

The characters pictured here, obviously, are the Zistopia AU versions of Judy and Nick. They're rather different from their movie counterparts. If you'd like to see exactly how, do yourself a favour and check out the comic at the link below.
