Kind of selfish in my opinion. Mike wants to find a place that HE belongs not being dragged along by Evals like a wingman.

By all accounts, you are not wrong on him being selfish. At the same time, Mike doesn't really have any objective idea of where or what he will do to accomplish that when he has a friend who clearly wants to have him to stay by his side. If that isn't a sense of belonging, I don't know what is.

I may be alone on that one, but when I first saw Erilas I had to think of Glynda Goodwitch from RWBY. At least in the monochromatic sketch their styles look rather similar.
