    You know, I understand not wanting to live your life based on prophecy, but considering the last one brought them together and saved the kingdom, you'd think they'd at least hear them out.

    The great thing about prophecy, mr priest guy, is that if it’s real then it’s going to come true *no matter what.* they don’t need to know what it is, or actually *try* to make it come true, the universe will just take care of everything.

    This was a really, really good comic. So many good emotions and a perfect example of good art AND storytelling, you came for the porn but stayed for the story. Wonderfully likable characters and a heartwarming story. An excellent read and will be remembered

    Well this comic was simply excellent. The story it tells is well executed and warms the heart in many places.
    I love these characters and the chemistry between them was very satisfying. I would love to revisit this world and the two lovers again one day. I hated waiting for the next page but I know imma miss that feeling of anticipation! Well done!

    Oh, and the porn was good, but it was the characterisation that gave it impact, and once it got going, it was the story that kelt me coming back. Instant classic!

    Well... we all agree that the sex scenes are great, but...
    Here is what we came up with.

    Zaphira is the worst character here, as my pall said it the best "She has the personality of a rock."     Not to mention the scene that really disgusts me... and that scene is when Shen is digging... the most forced dramatic scene ever.

    Im reading it, and the only question that is popping to my head is:

    WHY IS SHEN DIGGING THE HOLE ALONE?!?!?!

    Is she a Queen??? Where are her servants, workers??? Why are they not HELPING Shen dig the hole? They could done this in one day by looking at the deepness of it if they worked in a group. But no, we need to make Shen say the obvious slave things how he suffered. He still coudl have said it, but it would quite nice if there was other workers helping him in the background.
    Oh and nice plot conviniece, how nice for SHEN to be good with finding water...
    He could said it earlier, before the fucking? Man of priorities i see.

    Also, not eating AND DRINKING for 5 DAYS???
    Yeah... he is dead. Is that the plotwist or something that Zaphira added to the story to spice it up?

    Other scene that bothered me, and probarly few others, is how quick the "I love you" Bomb was delivered. Yeah.. because an inexpierienced girl, that "READ" about how to fukky-fukky probarly does not have ANY expierience in love and she just read about it fomr her other books and romancy novels and she thinks this is it. And what about Shen? Well of course he is gonna say "Love you too" you would be and idiot not to in this situation, LIVE TO THE FULLENS BABY!

    Shen... well.. he is boring too, but not gonna write MUCH about him, he was the least problematic, he says what he must say, and thats it...

    But.

    Okey, you have a queen by your side. Are you gonna make her abolish the slave market??? You know... because you suffered from it? No? Other slaves can suffer? But that does not matter because you have your plumpy snek and you gonna spend the rest of yours lives saying sex oneliners to each other? Okey...

    Some other minor things here and there, but thats nicpicking.

    So i like this comic, but the things i wrote are what dont let me LOVE IT.
    Also sorry for any errors.

    Frankly, i think at least the Zaphira parts were on purpose. Half the problem with the whole prophecy was that they took one particular interpretation, and then proceeded to prepare her for that, and only that, and absolutely nothing else.
    As for the religion... go take a look at fundamentalists. No, i don't think reacting to the prophecy like that is at all unrealistic, especially when more worldly measures were already attempted and failed.
    It's shown that they did try to find water, they just didn't have any luck. There were plenty of holes already when Zen started digging.

    Zen digging alone could just be artistic license to show his singleminded fervour. Adding more diggers could easily have overcrowded the scene.

    But wait, the prophecy that led to their kingdom finding water true though... Sure, it didn't have anything to do with sex, but that was due to the priesthood misinterpreting. That doesn't change the fact that the prophecy still led to prosperous times or was correct.

    Why shoo the prophecy away entirely when they could just interpret it themselves?

    Don't get me wrong, the scene was funny, but the story is... Not that great. I liked it, but it's not well written, which is weird because for a porn comic it certainly tries to spend time developing it's characters.

    Have you forgotten how stupid the human race can be? We only need recent history to tell us that, though we are the supposed "apex predators", we are also the dumbest group of beings on this planet. Let me present to you the stupid things that have happened recently:

    A) The toilet paper crises before Covid.
    A1) The people who didn't believe Covid was real and protested against a virus, only to become sick with said virus.
    B) Trump's entire campaign and running of office for, what, a few months, maybe a year before he was voted out?
    B1) His supporters rioting and storming the capital building, injuring several (at least one severely, bordering on life threatening) and at least 5 people dying, one of them being a DC Metro Police Officer.
    C) Hong Kong under seige from China's government due to the amount of tourist money being made.
    C1) The amount of student protesters that have disappeared.
    D) The Ukraine becoming a battleground because Russia decided they want another piece of land for their empire.

    I could go on, but I won't. Point is, yes we can be this stupid, even in this modern era. And if you still don't believe me, look at some of our rulers of the past. I mean for god's sake, MILLIONS of people were killed because one man decided that anyone who didn't fit his image of the ideal human should be exterminated. Another group of people were burned alive because they were thought to be witches and devil spawn. And finally, need I remind you of the tragic and downright horrifying cult that was Jonestown?

    So yes, an entire monarchy that relies on prophecy to dictate their every action is not out of the realm of possibility.
