They aren't connected. If I understand this correctly, they need to close the distance between the contacts on their body and the one on the base of the dildo. The closer the distance, the lower the resistance and the higher the peak voltage, which when high enough would open the containers and allow them to release their locked penises.

Why they don't connect them directly though, I have no idea, lol. Makes for a nice picture though.

The further they work down the dildo, the higher the power on the e-stim pads. once they knot themselves, the box opens and allows them to take their chastity cages off. Going back up the dildo doesnt decrease the power so the long it takes and the more they hesitate, the more painful it gets
