I dont think it is a bad idea that would end in a massacre or be dangerous since she is the one sugesting it.
If you were to intrude, thats a different thing.

Personally i would lay down trying to disturb as little as possible (whitch looks hard because there are allready five on the bed) and let them cuddle up to me.
That way i know it would be ok to cuddle back :)
