it looks like she is way up on a platform. usually the only reason for that is diving, but i dont see a diving board, or a staging area, it just looks like she is on the edge of the pool, about 100ft up

Given that the bars go down behind her, the diving board might be behind our perspective and lead to a deeper pool. The one we see doesn't look too deep.
