  • Having fought both, and having studied the lore of both (and comparing it to actual in game feats) Safi is the more powerful one, or at least, the more dangerous. Courtesy of the addition of Alatreon, we see Alatreon intentionally burning the ...Egg... coucoon... whatever they are that Xeno comes out of in the secluded Valley (Safi's den, Meaning the Safi we fight i a mommy) and it doesn't even care about the hunter landing because he's so focussed on the task, Alatreon hates everything that lives, so why ignore the very alive Hunter(s) and Wingdrakes in favor of a few eggs (I'm just going to call them eggs) Because Safi'jiva is a bigger threat than even a black dragon, if Fatalis comes to the new world, I wouldn't be surprised if he comes to blows with Safi, and loses.

But will put up an epic fight before it goes down for sure. Looking at the picture. Man I want to see this battle so badly.

I feel you predicted something, because the lorebook comfirmed Safi being at least at the same level as fatalis- Unless i'm misremembering

I'm going to have to disagree with all of you on this. First, Fatalis doesn't HAVE a nest in the game for Alatreon to attack, so that point is sort of moot. Second, Fatalis doesn't need to absorb energy from the environment to fuel his devestating attacks (the handler or someone questions why anything would even need as much power as Fatalis has). Thirdly and most noticeably, the commission, the guild, and everyone else (whoever the general works for) are WAY more concerned about Fatalis than they are about any other dragon, to the point of recalling all the comission hunters to the old world. Plus, in game Fatalis just hits WAY harder. Also, at some point they mention that even all the other elders vanish when Fatalis appears.
