99% of the time sure, but there is a small chance it end up with the father's species, however that is very rare. Outside of a Ditto being involved, it isn't going to happen too often.

The egg groups match, so that makes azzilan's mother a charizard and this dragonite is the father (he should also have inherited his mother's pokéball type if it was pokemon daycare breeding)

I'm confused. Azilan is a Charizard, so how can a Dragonite be his father?! They're different species, right?
