Hey, just a point aside, but am I the only one who found kat's reaction to Eric's view of her to be very immature?
She didn't even try to explain herself, she just went away heartbroken and mad. Maybe Eric just thought she was too pure and free and of course "like a sister", but still...

She was obviously in love with him for many years, probably as far back as when he liberated her from his brother. She was just working up the courage to say something to him, and he (metaphorically) stabbed her through the heart and dashed all of her romantic ideas by saying he viewed her as a sister. It would be a pretty devastating blow. I do wish Tom would revisit it, it just disappeared into thin air.
