  • Well that explains that part of that.

Can she at least offer the methods to the world? Even if they don't have Draako scales (or they're not willing/able to draw usable amounts of their own blood), people could still probably make something out of it.

There are a lot of complex things going on that make the general populace unable to make use of it, not even just her blood and the reflective nature of her scales, but the time investment in learning it, as well as a large amount of other components that non-Draako just can't make use of.

Even if Joe Schmoe could learn to use it, the average lifespan of people on Farelliar is around 40, Draako are the only ones who live past 60. Not counting Draakin, but dragons OP.

Dang, that's a really short lifespan, is it genetic or due to poor life condition altogether?
Bet people on Farelliar tend to marry quickly then.

i suspect similarity to the real worlds medieval era as the common life span was (off the top of my head) close to 30s or so but i could be wrong. because of both bad living conditions and no medical know how (minus maybe herbal medician) lead to quite a lot of early deaths, but in cities sewage was just right there in the streets running into rivers and the like so both bathing water and drinking water for the common foke was in all retro spec shit filled, disease riddled waters.
but that is just me and my surface knowledge of history of this time period. (and yes i call this a surface know-how as it dont take much diggin)

Nah, it's genetic in this case, the most common cause of death is old age. The peoples of the world live rather healthy lives, and stay fairly young and healthy up to about 35, before age starts creeping in. There are reasons for this too.

Wait hold up Draako and Draakin are different? I figured one was just a plural form or some other grammatical variation of the same word. Are Draakin and dragons different as well?

And, again, even just knowing the methods that were used to create the paint would probably useful for other applications of magical studies, even if they can't actually make the paint itself (let alone use it). There's probably some other information people could derive simply from the fact that such a thing is possible. Science is science, even if it isn't immediately applicable.

So then how quickly do people mature? (unless all characters have to be 18+ for IRL legal reasons)
How long is incubation period for typical live births?

A ten year old in Farelliar is equivalent to 18 in our world, in every respect.

And a few months, up to four for non-Draako.

And yes, Draako and Draakin are different, one is a tall, big-tiddy dragon-alike, the other is a giant four-legged beast. Draakin are dragons. Draako are mammals that look visually similar to dragons.

  • Personal theory:
The crystals contain the magic of each element, the chemical liquid breaks down and absorbs the essence, the blood is so the substance adapts to her body and reacts to her. The scales, it somehow activates the paint.

I get more quality and detail for less work with 3D stuff than with 2D, especially when doing lots of shots of the same interior structure.

Also, I've been using 3D actively for about a year now, y'all just don't usually notice because I try to ensure it's not noticeable. For this particular set, I didn't really have time or desire to repaint the walls all the way.
