  • I only have two things to say about this.
    1. I lost interest in the story about a part of the way through, i'm one of those guys that looses interest if nothing really interesting happens for too long.
    2. It's embarrassing when people find out I play yugioh, imagine how embarrassing it wold be for people to find out if I played a card game mostly based on the prospect of porn.

It's still pretty cool. I have to admit, a lot of imagination went into this.

Props to seppel for the awesome tagging job.

I feel that it's my responsibility as the uploader to tag it properly. :)

That's fine - we have 6 tribes to choose from. Take a look at the ones that interest you and skip the rest. :)

It's only embarrassing if you make it embarrassing. I have a lot of open-minded friends who think it's awesome that there's an adult-rated card game. :)

  • They're doing some really dedicated advertising lately. I won't be buying, but the project is cool. I hope it works for them.

I think I wont buy it too, cause there would be nobody to play in my country :(

  • Woooowwwwww.... This doesn't look like a ripoff of Ollie Canal's Lutrai at all. Nope. Not in the least bit.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that.

I did a bit of searching to find information about Ollie Canal, his Lutrai species, and the world of Rym:

    http://www.furnation.com/Lutrai/rym.html

Aside from having an anthropomorphic otter species, I don't see anything at all similar. The storylines behind Tanglebrook and Rym don't match up at all. The technology level of Tanglebrook and Rym are very different. Tanglebrook is loosely based off Native American culture, and it is located on a peninsula east of Di'Ahla, whereas Rym is described as an entire tropical world on the brink of an apocalypse.

Even the culture of the Lutrai doesn't match up at all with the culture of the Lutani:

    http://www.furnation.com/Lutrai/lutrai2.html
    http://www.furnation.com/Lutrai/history.html

The Lutrai have shamans and can control magic. The Lutrai males are more often hunters. The Lutrai markings are paint that links magical circuits. The Lutrai worship an angel named Kij.

    http://furoticon.com/index.php?a=270

The Lutani have no shamans. The Lutani control no magic. The Lutani females are more often hunters. The Lutani tribal markings are made from a bleach dye, and it signifies their job class. The Lutani pay respect to the dragons of Tanglebrook.

I'm trying to find what made you make your claim when I have yet to find anything more similar between the two than "an anthropomorphic otter species."

Would you please expound on your claim?

There's a lot of people outside of North America who play this.

  • As a writer myself, I would LOVE to see how these stories actually play out, with a few alternate endings of course. As much as I like how the card game sounds, I doubt I'd be satisfied playing it with incomplete stories. That'd just bug me.
