News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

He's cute, but a bit of a coffee lightweight. :3

Sorry but consider your body mass to his, and the amount of coffees laying beside him, and the potential of strength of each coffee. He might not be a lightweight, all I know is he's ready for whatever task he's prepared for. o.o

Starbucks. Fueling self important douchebags since the 1970's.

Which is why I drink Dutch Bros, since I'm a less important douchebag who would prefer great coffee over something mutilated by the heat of the water.

  • I get to be that way sometimes. all the fools complaining about not being able to get this caffinated I ask you one question. do you know what "rocket fuel" is? if not let me explain. it is taken in shot glasses and one is enough to keep you going for one to two days depending on your caffeine addiction. I drink three coffee pots worth of the stuff... so yeah, i tend to get this way

hahaha i think there was abit of crack involved with that coffee :P

Your actually not too far off. Drinking that much caffeine all at ounce is about equivalent to doing a line of coke. Maybe closer to 2 considering how strong Starbucks is.

  • One time I had 48 hours to do more than 40% of a year-long project. I got 6 huge bottles of energy drink and by the end of those two days I was quite literally tripping balls. Not a single inch of my place was *not* covered in paper. Somehow I made a short comic about talking to the disembodied head of Hunter S. Thompson.
Oh and I passed with flying colors too. \o/

I guess he has never heard of Decafe

He'd probably still be a little high on caffeine. Decaf has only about 90% removed. Which if my math is correct, then he would have consumed around 100mg of caffeine; and given his size I think that would probably be enough to get him high or at the very least buzzed.
