Western Basitins are much more liberal, and don't have the same compulsions that the others do. They're looked down on for this. Keith's mother was Western.

This image... it brings me an abstract form of calm. In amidst of a lot of emotion I'm currently experiencing, this image just calms me a lot. I'm not sure what it is, but everything about it just resembles abstract contentment, and a lack of stress that is beautiful.

Do western basitins come in more of a variety of colors than eastern basitins do? Either way, the western basitins are already much different then eastern ones are.

I think so. Because they're more tribal-esque and not as wwalled in compared to the eastern basitins who hardly even allow crossbreeding. Men can't even sleep in the same houses as their mates.
