I really wish these two ended up together, their bond is so much greater than any of the other bonds and this is after reading all of the manga and watching the anime. sure Jack doesn't appear as much as the other characters but his friendship with Legosi is so genuine that the other characters don't hold a candle to their bond

Legosi cares about jack a lot that is for sure, but as I see it Paru seems to associate love partially with attraction which I can completely understand. Legosi has admitted he has a hardcore fetish for herbivores, he probably can't love another predator at least romantically.

Yea that is true he has a fetish for herbivores, but I feel like what could have happened was that his love for jack could have become more important then his fetish and after saving his life, he realized just how important jack is to him, kind of like in this fan comic I am currently reading

I am not saying it had to be right there exactally, what I mean is that it could have been written in a way where he realized his feelings earlier in the manga and that could have been the trigger for a conference, all I am saying that the Manga could have gone in a lot of different directions during the Legosi lives on his own ark or even before that, like when Jack found Legosi all beaten up and bloody after Riz attacked him and tied him up, that could have been a good point for These two to really start developing a romantic relationship

Im not saying that legosi couldn't love jack, what I am saying is that Paru herself seems to believe at least in the context of the manga that "love" in the romantic sense has a firm basis in attraction, that for your to fall in love with someone in the beginning you need to have a sexual attraction to them, not to say that love isn't far reaching after that like say haru got cancer and looked ugly he'd still love he because he's been loving her for a while.

The point is that for legosi's love to happen he has to feel attracted to the person in the first place, but that is just my opinion, I love the idea of jack and legosi too two puppy pals becoming hound lovers.

Yea I know what you mean, but you know at the same time there could have been something there if they wanted to go in that direction, there were definitely a lot of points where these two could have started developing romantic feelings for each other, that's all I am saying, that there was potential for the story to go that route

I wonder if Paru was aware of the firestorm she ignited in the furry fandom when she came up with this shit lol. I hope the overwhelmingly positive reaction to this manga, and the subsequent notoriety/popularity that has been garnered for it and the TV anime adaptation amongst us furfags will serve as an example to other individuals (specifically those who have the capability to create a new series or movie or what have you) of the massive level of influence that our fandom possesses. I mean if they just make more mangas/movies/shows that cater to our admittedly-bizarre subculture they're guaranteed to make fucking bank.
