Furry University was known for the caliber of students it churned out, the alumni of the school varied in fame and fortunes but coming from such a stalwart institution and having it on a resume meant many of its students would have their pick of the litter for jobs out of school. However that didn’t mean that there wasn’t an ample amount of rambunctious behavior. There were plenty of parties in frat houses and dorms were littered with students who would stay up late with N64 meetups and various old-school night LAN parties, and of course there was its own prestigious Magic: the Gathering group that would hold competitive tournaments against other schools. Furry University proudly sported the winning record of the season against the likes of Yiff Law and Brownhole University.

And two of the nerdiest video-gamin’ girls were hanging out in the library sitting at one of the study tables with a book between them. The library had slowly been infiltrated by these types of study-parties, small groups that would use the seclusion of the halls to get privacy from the irritation of dorm roommates. Their voices were slightly lowered but every so often there was a burst of halfway stifled laughs and giggles between them as they quickly shushed each other and went back to their book. The pair of them were staring downwards, seemingly at the pages but they had not yet once turned to the next.

While there may have been girls that didn’t respect the library as a place of study and acquiring knowledge for the rigors of the upcoming midterms, Anna certainly did. Her golden eyes snapped towards the intrusive decibels of giggling girls and it made her frown. “Shh!” She pressed a single fingertips to her lips in the direction of the doggirl and her giraffe friend that seemed to be gazing down at the same book... but why?
