  • I really respect the time and effort some artists decide to invest into making frame-by-frame animations instead of spamming hundreds of creepy 4-second-loop, low effort 3D animations per day like others.

I will agree that "some" 3d artists are obnoxious by spamming hundreds of animations by doing 2 poses and let the software fill the gap. But those guys are either beginners or people which are not passionate into improving or achieving good results. Given the same "time and effort" in making movements natural, having a nice lighting and making even a 10 second loop, but with variance in motions, 3d art can achieve extremely good results.

You could also say the same for some people here that try 2D animation.
Some of them display a poor sense of motion.

Anyway, this is a really nice piece of work.

That's because those people use the god awful motion tweening on still images. It will almost always look awful unless done by a skilled artist but even then it still doesn't look that great. Honestly I feel like that's poor man's animation. I know animation takes time but as the saying goes "Quality not quantity."

Yeah. Actual proper animation instead of spammed tweening animations.

  • Frame by frame animation has a certain love put into that you just can’t achieve with motion tweeting
