Thank you for commenting on the last page! I'm glad to hear from both sides, how some thought it would be better to live, and some thought it would be better to die. I'm happy to have a readership that has different views for the story.
However, no good deed goes unpunished.

MemberIf the movies have taught me anything, is that whenever you somehow escape the "bad" guy, you don't just leave him alive to get stronger and come back to kill you. Even if he's paralyzed, he might have some strings he could pull to make sure she's dead

MemberDont tease him to get that idea from that sudden door knocking.

Member:0 .... well with what happened...is it bad if i say this is a good enough of a happy ending given the circumstances? i mean she set up the situation so jonesy would be im the clear...as for last words to the security bot it can probably all be chalked up to "undercover with jonesy and part of the act to keep the robots unaware" ...probably thinking about it to much here
Shadow Scythe
MemberId like to add onto your statement by saying this world has robots, would I be going to far in assuming they also know how cybernetics work, the guy could easily get the money from family or the crew should he escape and do such a procedure. Its also obvious that a bullet to the brain isn't instant brain death here either so such surgical operations could be possible. Heres hoping when she says "permanently" that thats the truth.
Anonthemouses
MemberSo she can be saved from being shot in the head, but he can't recover from a spine shot?
Jack Foxe
MemberSo she did paralyze him! Alright, go Marnie!
I swear to God if that door opens to some dudes with Tommy guns...
