Description

Its been far to long since I posted something new. So here is an image of RedXIII I have been working on and off on. This was really a fun way to practice painting fur, since I am always doing scales. I spent a lot of time looking over reds body structure in the remake of Final Fantasy VII. So hopefully I was able to match it. I noticed he looked a lot leaner and bony in this version of the game, especially his hips. Drawing him from a back view angle proved to be much more challenging then I originally anticipated. Ohh and the background is based off a dream I had when I was working on this. The idea of an illusion being projected around Red and possibly Cloud * any party members really* seemed fitting. Red , or Nanaki, strikes me as the scholarly guide type of personality. He seems like he could be the one to break through and illusion to lead the party to safety.....ofcourse my attention would be focused on his ass the whole time.

Anyway, thank you as always everyone for the tremendous support, I always try my best to read all the comments. Let me know what you all thought of the remake and ofcourse RedXIII in it.

    It's lovely! Your attention to detail really panned out. I'm really in love with 'it's all in your head' tropes, and there were plenty of 'illusions' in canon to play with for 'dreams' and suchlike...

    Meanwhile at the Golden Saucer: staring at black chocobo ass doing chocobo racing to unlock a golden chocobo... and stare at that golden chocobo ass.

    And then regretting the Knights of the Round sausagefest and going back to staring at chocobo ass.
