Probably how they start off like humans before shifting to be more animal hind legs around where the ankles would be. Now that I think about it, it is a bit uncanny.

Umm...unless my memory has completely failed me, Keidran start out looking like what we’d consider normal animals, then transition to two legs as they grow.
