Might have something to do with his appearance. I always felt like the girly pink Eeveelution was an odd choice for a character who enjoys vore.

True, we'll still have to see how this scene plays out. I'm not into vore so his preformance will still have to be seen from me but design wise, I think I like this Gluttony a lot better. He was always my least favorite from the original, even though I didn't dislike him.
