April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberDon't you hate it when you're so thicc that the laws of physics have to make an exception for your hands so they can phase through?

MemberOh no! I wasn't aware of that, I thought as I'd seen a couple other SL animations/videos on here it'd be okay. I know ignorance isn't an excuse, but still, my apologies. D:
The temptations of level four are too strong
Haha! Yeah, that's SL unfortunately, clipping is just... a constant!

MemberOh my god, this is just, so damn cute. You did a really great job with making the plot and dialogue enjoyable, and I'd love to see more of your characters and art someday.
Also I'd totally love to chill with Maji and his mom, they seem like really sweet people.

MemberAww!! Really glad to hear it cpu! :D

MemberThis content is literally no different from animating a video and putting it up. Just because its recorded in SL makes no difference. Keep in mind the rules on this site are janky as all hell and are long overdue for revision when it comes to content restrictions. A lot of other sites have better policies regarding what content is allowed.

MemberExcept then you have everyone and their friends posting really bad SL screenshots/clips. The few that make it through the admin are usually porn company level SL videos like peachfuzz. (Peachfuzz uses custom built, unique avatars, handmade animations specifically for those avatars, excellent camera control... the makers dump a lot of cash into making the stuff top notch)
This has badly made avatars, clipping, seams on attachments, out of position animations... this is NOT quality work.

JanitorIt's guidelines, not rules. Two seperate things.
There is a difference: With blender and SFM, you are posing and animating the assets you use and then render it out. With Second life, Skyrim mods and Minecraft you are using preset animations and poses and record it live with screencap utility, maybe do editing in post like add plot dialogue.
Additionally Furaffinity doesn't allow cub but allows ads, Inkbunny doesn't allow humans but allows cubs, Paheal allows all sorts of porn but not OCs, Gelbooru allows japanese artwork but not western stuff.
So if the sites rules are "janky" and need of revision of allowed content, what would you suggest? Our focus is still on drawn furry artwork (not porn, artwork) and because we want to maintain focus on that, the content outside of that scope is the one that's cut. Sure, second life stuff works well as porn, but because of the nature of most of the videos, they have far less artistical value and are so outside of the sites main scope that they aren't worth it. (Actually seen many people saying that we should've just denied all and every 3D content outright ages ago)
These kind of content just makes me a bit angry because they are painting everything black with loaded sentences and with clearly zero knowledge of why things are, in hopes that someone else without knowledge would get riled up.
uploading guidelines, should be linked on uploading page, you can even CTRL+F "second life" as it's specifically mentioned as first point under bad things to upload.
Seen a lot of Second life video creators going to e621 sister site FurryNetwork, they also accept pretty high filesize WebM and MP4 uploads which could be the cause, so if nothing else that's one place to possibly post your stuff.
