  • Now I would understand if she had tried to take advantage of her steed, but being seduced by the dragon though?
I call BS on the third commandment.

    Coming on a little strong.

Strong, yes. Though this is a story book so it may be abridging events. After all, the escalation in the other two were 1 to 100 in basically one page.

Until it's rape. I mean considering the last commandment it could be pretty dark.

Considering that at the beginning of the commandment that its stated this was a relationship with no secrets, I can assume they both had thought about it at one point and even may have proposed it, so to consider this rape I wouldn't think so. As I'm sure the two of them knew about each others feelings for one another.

As for her punishment that most people are wondering or panicking about I assume its banishment as execution seems a bit much for this type of thing. Tho I can't be certain of either of these so don't hold me to it.

I'm just interested to know how their fucking became a detriment to society, assuming it's not just one of those taboos that has no real rational explanation.

Keep in mind that the commandment forbids lusting after the steed, when the situation shown here is the opposite. I'd say this is definitely one of the moral guardian mandated ones.

  • Wait a minute... Does the 3rd commandment say not to lust after your steed because he’s too damn big, and might rip her in half?

  • I feel like regardless of who started what or did, the rider is the one who’ll take the blame.
(Not sure if steeds (or maybe not just dragons) and rider are on equal standing just because they both smart? Maybe they expect more of the rider than the steed/should know better?)

  • ...oh god no please Lorath...please no rape :( this is a sin though... so i can only imagine she will deny his advances, he won't take it lightly...and possibly rampage... or she accepts and they bond... but then perhaps she gets hurt and Lorath looses it
